Al-Adha Eid in Al-Aqsa Mosque

Qurbani 2021: Al Quds- Palestine

The  Prophet (SAW) said about Qurbani that, “It is the Sunnah of your father Ibrahim. For every hair of the Qurbani you receive a reward from Allah.” (Al-Tirmidhi)

You can donate your Qurbani (Sacrifice) to people in need in Al-Quds.

Following months of consecutive challenges and unspeakable suffering, Eid Al-Adha will soon be visiting the people of Al-Quds.

Ummet Waqf is inviting the whole ummah to support the people of Al Quds during these difficult times through donations received in the form of a Qurbani (Sacrifice).

It was narrated from ’Aishah that the Prophet (
) said:

The son of Adam does not do any deed on the Day of Sacrifice that is dearer to Allah than shedding blood. It will come on the Day of Resurrection with its horns and cloven hoofs and hair. Its blood is accepted by Allah before it reaches the ground. So be content when you do it.”  Sunan Ibn Majah 3126

Ummet Waqf is launching an initiative that aims to distribute Qurbani (Sacrifice) meat and provide several avenues for funding relief projects that serve residents of AL-Quds, especially in the old city.

In 2020, 193 houses were demolished and many families and children were made homeless.

In a heart wrenching account, a resident of al Quds for over 20 years, Abo Mohammad said:

“Even if they demolish my home once, twice or three times, I will continue to sit on its ruins eating bread and olives...I will never leave my land”

This year, we estimate to deliver a minimum of 3 kgs of meat to every vulnerable family facing displacement and marginalisation  in Al Quds.

Please help us alleviate suffering by donating to Ummet Waqf’s projects to help the people of Al-Quds.

Be part of making this Eid less stressful for the Palestinians.
