The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said: “The best charity is giving water to drink”, so giving water is a great charitable act that brings us closer to Allah (SWT) We are working to fill and distribute water tanks to displaced families in Gaza, where access to clean water is nearly impossible due to the dire circumstances and devastating conditions.

For months, our brothers and sisters in Gaza have been suffering from severe water shortages, with some even experiencing complete deprivation at times. At Ummet Waqf, we are working to dig water wells, extending a helping hand to provide water by tapping into underground resources to meet some of their critical needs. The cost of digging one water well is $2,500

Amid the challenging circumstances our people in Gaza are enduring, and their psychological impact on children and families, Ummet Waqf is organizing recreational and psychological support programs. These initiatives aim to bring joy to the hearts of children and orphans who have lost their loved ones in displacement shelters, offering them stability and much needed support.

Amid the collapse of healthcare services in Gaza and the shutdown of most hospitals, the need for medical centers to treat patients and the injured has drastically increased. In response, medical points in displacement camps are stepping in to cover part of this critical need, providing essential care to those in dire circumstances.
