Most of the schools in Jerusalem suffer from weak infrastructure, a severe shortage of classrooms, and a lack of educational facilities (the classroom deficit of Jerusalem schools is estimated at 2,548 classrooms), and this limits the space allocated to the student to be an excuse for the occupation to close it as a result of not applying the preventive conditions to confront  Corona pandemic.

Jerusalem schools also face weakness in their operational budgets, as the percentage of schools built in rented buildings reaches 38% of Jerusalem schools, and this increases the financial burden on them.

In light of this bitter reality and in the interest of the nation’s endowment to improve the educational reality, the focus is rehabilitating classrooms and their facilities. This will be done by providing schools with modern electronic technologies and supporting the operational budgets of the schools in Jerusalem.
