Sheikh Muhammad Al-Hassan wald Al-Dido Al-Shanqiti issued Fatwa that the Zakat can be transferred and spent in Al-Quds city, and that six of the eight types of Zakat apply to the people of Al-Quds city. Sheikh Ekrima Sabri, the Grand Mufti of Al-Quds, called on the nation’s merchants to give early Zakat due to the crisis they are suffering due to the pandemic and occupation.
