Ummet Waqf is an independent, Istanbul-based development organization dedicated to advancing global humanitarian aid, social support, and sustainable development. We are deeply committed to reaching individuals who have been exposed to severe danger, affected by natural disasters, displaced by wars and occupations, or deprived of their fundamental human rights and freedom. Our humanitarian services are delivered universally, transcending borders and strictly without regard to race, religion, denomination, or personal beliefs.
Beyond providing vital emergency relief, Al-Ummah Waqf operates with a forward-looking developmental mindset. We continuously design and manage sustainable investment projects, ensuring that the proceeds are strategically reinvested to robustly finance our long-term humanitarian and relief initiatives, thereby creating a permanent cycle of goodwill.
Our Mission:
Our mission is to harness the collective potential and resources of the Ummah, empowering it to address its most pressing challenges effectively. We strive to serve as a distinguished, professionally managed Waqf incubator that earns the absolute trust of its donors. Guided by the principles of social solidarity and strategic partnership, we focus on fulfilling the priority needs of vulnerable communities—with a special commitment to supporting the resilience of the people in Jerusalem and Palestine—while driving sustainable projects that elevate living standards and strengthen societal fortitude.
Our Vision:
Al-Ummah Waqf aspires to be the premier global Waqf institution that mobilizes and unites the dynamic energy of the Ummah. We envision a future where endowed assets are masterfully invested to provide continuous funding for high-impact priorities, ensuring rapid, life-saving support and fostering lasting sustainable development for communities in dire need. Ultimately, we seek to be a powerful catalyst for dignity, freedom, and prosperity, particularly contributing to an honorable and sustainable future for the people of Jerusalem and Palestine.
