The Geography of Al-Quds

Al-Quds city is located at the heart of Palestine, to the western center of the Mediterranean, 60 km far of the Mediterranean, and 88 km of the Jordanian capital Amman, 290 km of Damascus, 241 of Beirut. Al-Quds is situated upon Hebron plateau mountain chain, which consists of a number of mountains: Mount Tabor in the east, Mount Tabor, Mount Scopus at the west. The elevation of the city is 750m above the Mediterranean and 1150m above the Dead Sea. The city is surrounded by several valleys such as Kidron Valley, Tyropoeon Valley, and Valley of Hinnom.
